Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, delivery and billing details, account details, order history, messages you send us, and technical information needed to operate and secure the website.
How we use your information
We use personal information where necessary to process and fulfil orders, take payment, deliver goods, provide customer service, operate customer accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the website secure, comply with legal and accounting duties, and deal with disputes or legal claims.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. eBANANA does not need to store your complete card number on its own servers for ordinary card transactions.
Who we share information with
We only share information where reasonably necessary. This may include Stripe for payment processing; Printful for printing, fulfilment and delivery; postal and courier services for delivery; hosting, email and technology suppliers used to operate the store; and professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
Our lawful bases
Depending on the activity, we process information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights, or because you have given consent.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected. Order and transaction records may need to be retained for several years to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. Account information is normally kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Support correspondence may be kept where needed to deal with an order, complaint, dispute or legal requirement.
DIY artwork uploads: customer-supplied images for custom T-shirts are stored privately in Cloudflare R2 and are not exposed as public website files. We retain them while an order is being prepared and for up to 30 days after shipment, refund or cancellation, after which the artwork is automatically deleted unless we need to keep it for an active dispute or legal obligation.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to certain processing; receive certain information in a portable form; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a right, email sales@ebanana.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how we use your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
